Install the unpacked Chrome beta to render feedback zones without changing your product code. Use Tester mode to contribute signal or Developer mode to place zones.
Private beta · Chrome 114+ · The zip is generated from the deployed extension build. After loading unpacked, sign in with the same account you used to accept your invitation. No API URL or key is needed.

Unpack

Load
Open chrome://extensions, enable Developer mode, and choose Load unpacked.

Open ADapptive, sign in with your website account, and choose Connect on your campaign.

Contribute safely
Sign in through the side panel when invited. Feedback and votes carry your tester identity and pool permissions.
Developer mode
Place the next zone
Workspace editors and campaign editors can switch an approved campaign to Developer mode. Account approval is checked automatically; no secret key is needed.

Why is this not in the Chrome Web Store?
The extension is distributed as an unpacked private beta while permissions, onboarding, and the store listing are validated.
Is Developer mode safe?
Chrome’s Developer mode is only used to install this beta ZIP. It does not grant ADapptive Developer access, which requires approval from your workspace or campaign owner.
How do updates work?
Download the latest zip and reload the extracted folder. When upgrading from 1.2.x, load the new folder once and remove the old ADapptive entry: version 1.3 has a stable extension identity. Sign in again; your campaigns will appear automatically.
Which pages can it access?
You grant access per site. The beta manifest does not request universal browsing permission.
